The reviews below are a synthesis of reviews conducted by ConsumerSearch.com, an independent research firm. They compile the results from multiple sources such as Consumer Reports, Consumer Digest, Amazon, Smart Money and others and synthesize the results to draw their conclusions. Best Gas Push Mower Craftsman 38905 *Est. $225 If you can get by with a push mower (instead of self-propelled), the Craftsman 38905 is a good blend of performance and value. This model can mulch, side discharge or bag clippings (bag included), but in comparison … reviews, it mulches and bags better than it side-discharges. Riding Mower and Lawn Tractor Review

Written by admin on June 22, 2009 – 9:54 pm -

The following review information was taken from ConsumerSearch.com, an indepedent research firm. They synthesize research results from multiple sources such as Consumer Reports, Consumer Digest, Smart Money, Amazon.com and others and draw their conclusions. Best Lawn Tractor Overall John Deere X304 Est. $3,500 The 42-inch John Deere X304 lawn tractor gets the highest ratings in reviews for smooth, even cutting, as well as easy changes between side discharging, mulching and bagging. Four-wheel steering makes it easy to maneuveraround obstacles and the tight 15-inch turning radius leaves a smaller circle of uncut grass than most lawn tractors (which means less trimming). In addition to automatic transmission and cruise control, the X304 is loaded... more

Ground ivy is a member of the mint family and produces a minty odor when cut or crushed. I have two neighbors with a healthy crop of ground ivy, and by smell alone I know when they are mowing the lawn.
